Graduate School Preparatory Class

In the Graduate School Preparatory Class, we practice writing research plan, interview skills, reading thesis papers, and JLPT training in order to build the knowledge necessary to enter your graduate school of choice.

Research Plan Advisement

We will help and guide you in writing your research plan by teaching the structure and commonly used phrases in research plans. Then, we will have you write your research plan in and out of class, and present it in class.

Interview Advising

Your interview for graduate school will be based upon the contents of your research plan. We will teach you effective ways to communicate in your interview and practice in class.

Thesis Paper Reading

You will gain the skills necessary to understand actual Japanese academic papers. You will learn about the structure, logic, and grammar of Japanese academic papers and practice reading them in class. Also, we will have discussions and reports about thesis papers read in class.

JLPT Preparatory Class

To enter a Japanese graduate school, you must acquire N1 level Japanese. As such, our goal is to have you pass the N1 through JLPT Preparatory Classes.

Practice Exams

We conduct practice exams, modeled after the original, for the JLPT and EJU.
